Q: Is IELTS required to study in Ireland for Indian students?

A: Most Irish universities accept IELTS 6.0–6.5 for master’s programmes. Students who completed their bachelor’s degree in an English-medium institution may qualify for an English proficiency waiver. Some universities also accept PTE or TOEFL.

A: Master’s programmes cost 10,000 to 18,000 EUR per year. Living expenses in Dublin are 12,000 to 15,000 EUR per year and outside Dublin 9,000 to 12,000 EUR per year. Total first-year cost approximately 24–35 lakhs. Scholarships and Education loans available.

A: Ireland’s Third Level Graduate Programme Stay Back Visa allows master’s graduates to remain in Ireland for 2 years to seek employment — giving access to the Irish and EU job market.
